This was a very difficult year: we were also in the running (and won for) for Sweeney Todd and A Night's Tale. But we received a number of other shortlisted performances too:
Luke Hereford as Melchior shortlisted for Best Actor in a musical
Linford Hydes as Moritz shortlisted for Best Supporting Actor in a musical
Gabrielle Fernie as Wendla shortlisted for Best Actress in a musical

Felicity Kirby as Adult Woman

shortlisted for Best Supporting Actress in a musical
As well as the performances that were nominated...

Dafydd Weeks as Adult Man

nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a musical

Andrew Machin as Hanschen

nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a musical

And more...

Jenny Donoghue made some great trailers for the show, which were run for the couple of weeks before the show
This was the last of the trailers for the show: WHY SHOULD WE COME? (strong language warning!)
... as well as the second trailer: FORBIDDEN
... as well as the first trailer: SEXY

Here are some photos from one of the last rehearsals..

the poster originally said the opening night would be 30 August, but in the end we changed the opening night to the 31st, which gave us a bit more time for rehearsal

Special facts

There was a marketing display for this show like no other. It was all over Facebook for a couple of months, as well as Twitter. The support for the show from the cast was exemplary, and there could not have been a Facebook friend of a cast member who didn't know about the show!
