Special facts

Written by Scott Pryor and James Williams.

This was the text used to promote the show:

It's 1997. It looks like Labour might win. Dolly the Sheep has hit the big time. Some people think that the 'internet' and 'mobile phones' could be quite popular. Everything is possible.

And in a small corner of Cardiff, Quincy Jones - 18 years old, no boyfriend, and full of relentless optimism - knows she is going to change the world.

Featuring the very best of Cardiff's young musical theatre performers, and great new music, 'the true, true story of Quincy Jones' will be one of the highlights of the ... Welsh Proms.
